Quick update – things are moving!!
Brigitta enjoying time with the children of Agape
It was so good to see Brigitta and Ester back from their trip to Mbeya, after dropping off the students from Germany to their prospective orphanages. We had a lovely week with Brigitta before she went back to Germany, but unfortunately Ester needed time to get over Malaria.
Surprise! WE HAVE BOUGHT A CAR!

We had thought that we would wait a bit to buy a car, but a lovely lady turned up to Agape asking Isidori to pray for the sale of her car! Since we knew that we would soon be battling to get to our land in the rainy season with Pikipiki (motorbike) we saw this as a wonderful opportunity- We took our Toyota Cami on its first journey to kibaha yesterday!
Building has begun!
With the final plans drawn up for the building, this week we have started. At the front of our land we will build a Reception, office, shop, sewing- classroom, three rooms for guests (initially to be used by Ester, Ludmilla and myself). Our builder, plus 2 helpers and a watch guard will be on the land 24/7 ! Sleeping in tents! Ester is working very hard buying all of the materials for the building, and stays each day to oversee the building.
Ludmilla and I have to take a low profile, or the workers try to up their pay!!
In the picture here on the left the men are building a shelter for the cement - we are expecting the rain any day now!
It looks like we will be in our new home by Christmas. We are so excited! Thank you all for your prayers,
Fiona, Ludmilla , a big smile from Ester too!!
